The gasifier
At IQR we are proud to present a new biomass gasifier which is developed in order to fulfill our vision for a sustainable environment. SFC - Soot Free Combustion is a co-current fixed bed gasifier that can gasify biofuels and biomass of any kind. It not only provides better combustion, it is also much more fuel flexible than conventional boilers and can handle even the toughest of biofuels. It is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 25 MWth.
It works - not only in theory
Where other gasification technologies only are available as prototypes, we at IQR have a product that fully developed and is in full use. The gasifier is, since May 2008, installed at Svenljunga Energy’s 14 MW incineration plant and since August 2011 at Munkfors Energy’s 10 MW Combined Heat and Power plant. SFC enables gasification of biofuels (e.g. recycled or impregnated wood) with possibilities and advantages that no other products on the market can offer.
